IS YOUR BACKUP REALLY WORKING?

The only way to prevent data loss on your computer is through regular backups of your critical files.  Many individuals and businesses back up their data on a regular basis, however few actually test the backup to see if it is working. If the backup is not working, it is usually not discovered until it’s “too late”. Backups can fail for several reasons:

1.The specific file needed was not backed up in the first place

2.The backup itself is corrupt, the desired file cannot be recovered or no data at all can be recovered

3.Backups were created, but we haven't been shown how to restore a file
